Solution

To sync your Firefox bookmarks with your PocketPC follow the steps below :

1. Create a folder called "FireFox" in your PocketPC My Documents Folder.

2. Open up NotePad and copy and past the following text:

// Specify which bookmarks file to use:
user_pref("browser.bookmarks.file", "C:\\Documents and Settings\[user name]\My Documents\PocketPC My Documents\firefox\\bookmarks.html");

Please note you may need to change the username to your windows username and the foldername to your pocketpc folder.

3. Save this file as user.js in the firefox profile folder. This can be found at C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application Data.\
(again change the [User Name] to your windows username.

5. Sync your PocketPC with your desktop.

6. On the PocketPC use file explorer to locate bookmarks.html. Once found double click and your bookmarks should now be visible on your pocketpc. Set this as your default homepage.
